1. USE OF STERWINS GARDEN PUMP

MAIN PURPOSE:
• For domestic use around the house and garden
• For irrigation and watering of green areas, vegetable beds and gardens.
• For operation of lawn sprinklers.
• For drawing water (with pre-filter) from ponds, streams, rain barrels, rainwater cisterns
and wells.
• For supplying water to the house.
LIQUIDS THAT CAN BE PUMPED:
• Clear water only.
LIQUIDS THAT MUST NOT BE PUMPED:
• Liquids at a temperature in excess of +35°C
• Inflammable liquids, gases and explosive fluids.
• Corrosive liquids (acids, alkalis, silo seepage etc.) as well as liquids containing abrasive
substances (sand, small stones, etc.)
The equipment is to be used only for its intended purpose. Any other use shall be treated as a
case of misuse. The user will be liable for any damage or injury of any kind caused as a result
of such misuse.
Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or
industrial settings nor for cleaning or maintenance of swimming pools. If the equipment is
used in commercial, trade or industrial setting, or for equivalent purposes our warranty will
be voided.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

DANGER! Electric shock!
Risk of injury due to electric shock.
• Take appropriate steps to ensure that children have no access to the appliance.
• The user of the appliance is responsible for the safety of any third parties in the
work area.
• Before using the appliance for the first time, have an electrician check that the
necessary electrical protection measures have been taken.
