COMPLETING BASIC CHECKS

Perform the following test to be sure the Network Media Player is functioning
properly
Complete before shipping:
; Test LAN, USB, HDMI Input, HDMI Output, and SPDIF
; Test Wi-Fi
; Test Bluetooth (Use Remote Commander)
; Test IR Blaster (test both internal and external -
use external IR Blaster Cable)
; Test Remote Commander
28. After completing the Basic Check List, proceed to Resetting the
Remote Commander.

RESETTING THE REMOTE COMMANDER

The steps for resetting the Remote Commander depend on wether or not
the original Remote Commander was or was not with the Network Media
Player when it was sent in for repair.
Verify before proceeding to the next step:
; Updated the Software
; Re-initialized the Network Media Player to Factory Mode
; Completed Basic Tests
29. Do one of the following:
a. If the original Remote Commander was with the Network
Media Player, proceed to Resetting the Original Remote
Commander.
b. If the original Remote Commander was not with the Network
Media Player, proceed to Resetting a New Remote
Commander.
