Unfolding and folding the ladder
Lay the folded ladder on a fl at, level and clean surface large enough for the entire length to be extended. Slide out all the elements
and make sure they are locked in their positions, that the rungs cannot be lowered and are locked on both sides of the vertical
stiles. Lift the ladder and begin using it in accordance with these instructions. Always fold out the ladder from below.
After the work is fi nished, lay the ladder on the ground, perform maintenance works and fold it.
Subsequent ladder elements must be slid together, at the same time pushing both latches on each rung inwards. Slide all ele-
ments together and then secure the folded ladder with Velcro tape.
When folding, do not put your fi ngers or hands between the rungs. Each rung of the folding part of the ladder is equipped with two
buff ers which reduce the risk of trapping fi ngers or hands. Do not dismantle the buff ers, and replace them in case of damage at
an authorised service centre of the manufacturer before using the ladder.
REPAIRS, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Repairs and maintenance tasks should be carried out by a competent person and comply with the manufacturer's manual.
Ladders should be stored in accordance with the recommendations indicated by the manufacturer.
Repairs of the ladder may be carried out in an authorised service workshop of the manufacturer. The ladders must not be repaired
or modifi ed (e.g. extended) by the users themselves.
The ladders must be stored in a closed place, which is protected from atmospheric factors. All the elements of the ladder must be
maintained clean, particularly the vertical elements of the ladder, since if they are soiled, it may be diffi cult or even impossible to
unfold or fold the ladder. To wash the ladder use water with mild detergent. Before folding the ladder, it must be dried thoroughly.
Make sure the feet of the ladder are clean, since this will prevent the ladder from sliding during work.
The hinges and the connections must be maintained with thin machine oil or oil lubricant (e.g. WD-40).
Before transport, it is required to fold the ladder and protect it with a band. The ladder must be transported folded.
