2. Remove the rear cover assembly. (Refer to Section 4-5.)
3. When replacing the middle cell assembly or lower cell assembly, place the UC-1 board in the "service
position". (Refer to "To place UC-1 board in the service position" in "Preparation" described above.)
4. Disconnect the two harnesses from the cell assembly.
5. Disconnect the flexible flat cable connected to the removed cell assembly from the connector on the
UC-1 board.

For disconnecting/connecting the flexible flat cable, refer to Section 1-4.
6. When replacing the upper cell assembly, remove the cable clamps.
