Failure to follow the DANGERS, WARNINGS,
and CAUTIONS contained in this owner's
guide may result in serious bodily injury or
death, or may result in a fire or an explosion
causing damage to property.
DANGER:
Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
m Only use the grill outdoors in a well-
ventilated area. Do not use in a garage,
building, breezeway, tent, any other
enclosed area or beneath overhead
combustible construction.
m The grill is not intended for and should
never be used as a heater.
m Keep the cooking area clear of flammable
vapors and liquids such as gasoline,
alcohol, etc., and combustible materials.
m Should a grease fire occur, turn off the
burner and leave lid closed until fire is out.
m The grill should never be used by children.
Accessible parts of the grill may be very
hot. Keep children and pets away while the
grill is in use.
m The grill should never be left unattended,
or moved while in operation.
m The entire cookbox of the grill becomes
hot while in use. Do not touch any part of
the cookbox while it is hot.
m Do not attempt to disconnect the gas
regulator or any gas fitting while the grill
is in operation.
m Should the burner go out while the grill
is in operation, turn the gas valve off.
Open the lid and wait five minutes before
attempting to relight.
m Do not operate the grill if there is a gas
leak present.
m Do not use a flame to check for gas leaks.
m Do not put a grill cover or anything
flammable on the grill while it is in
operation or is hot.
m If you see, smell, or hear the hiss of gas
escaping from the liquid propane cylinder:
1. Move away from liquid
propane cylinder.
2. Do not attempt to correct the
problem yourself.
3. Call your fire department.
m Do not use the grill in any vehicle or in any
storage or cargo area of any vehicle. This
includes, but is not limited to, cars, trucks,
station wagons, mini-vans, sport utility
vehicles, recreational vehicles, and boats.
m After a period of storage and/or nonuse,
the grill should be checked for gas leaks
and burner obstructions before use.

m Do not use the grill unless all parts are in
place. Grill must be properly assembled
according to the assembly instructions.
m Do not build this model of grill in any built-
in or slide-in construction.
m Do not use charcoal or lava rock in
the grill.
m Never lean over an open grill while
igniting or cooking.
m Use heat-resistant barbecue
mitts or gloves at all times when
operating the grill.
m Do not place hands or fingers on the front
edge of the cookbox while the grill is hot
or the lid is open.
m Use the pressure regulator that is
supplied with the grill.
m Keep any electrical supply cord and
the fuel supply hose away from any
heated surfaces.
m Liquid propane gas is not natural gas. The
conversion or attempted use of natural
gas in a liquid propane gas unit or liquid
propane gas in a natural gas unit is
dangerous and will void your warranty.
m The use of alcohol, prescription drugs,
non-prescription drugs, or illegal drugs
may impair the consumer's ability to
properly and safely assemble, move,
store, or operate the grill.
m Do not place the grill on glass or a
combustible surface.
m The grill should be thoroughly cleaned on
a regular basis.
m Do not enlarge valve orifice or burner
ports when cleaning the valve or burner.
m Do not store an extra (spare) or
disconnected liquid propane cylinder
under or near the grill.
CAUTION:
Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
m When cooking, the grill must be on a
level, stable surface in an area clear of
combustible material.
m Do not use the grill on an asphalt
surface (blacktop).
m Do not move or store the grill until it is
cool to the touch.
m The grill is not intended for
commercial use.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY INFORMATION
IF USING NEAR A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE:
m DANGER: Do not use the grill inside of a
recreational vehicle. Indoor use of the grill
can cause carbon monoxide poisoning.
m DANGER: Keep the grill a minimum of 24
inches away from recreational vehicles
and combustible materials like wood,
paper, cloth and plastic. The grill will
be hot during use and may damage the
outside panels of a recreational vehicle, or
can cause a fire of combustible materials.
m WARNING: Do not mount or affix the grill
on a recreational vehicle or vehicle.
m WARNING: Do not use the grill under
extended awnings.
m CAUTION: Do not transport the grill
without emptying the removable catch
pan. Grease left in the removable catch
pan can cause damage to the storage area
and/or other items.
CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65:
m WARNING: Combustion byproducts
produced when using this product contain
chemicals known to the state of California
to cause cancer, birth defects, or other
reproductive harm.
m PROPOSITION 65 WARNING: Handling the
brass material on this product exposes you
