Instruction for hand-held drills
Wear hearing protection when operating the device.
Use the additional handle included in the delivery.
Always hold the handle while operating the machine.
Application
The diamond drill, also called concrete drill, is a type of tool which can drill on RC, brick,
stone, rock, porcelain, and fireproof materials. The device enables drilling without dust, has a
high efficiency and allows for smooth holes in walls with an accurate size. It can be used in
many fields of installation (like installation of devices, water and electricity, gas, construction
works, quality checks, road tunnels, railroads, and bridges). The drilling range of this product
is 15–505 mm. The machine has an automatic coupling system, switch-off protection against
overload and is easy for transport – this all safe and reliable.
It has a continuous speed variation and a two speed gear shift for a speed-adjustable diamond
core drill. It can work with different sizes of core drill bits and it can drill holes on hard or soft
materials. The adjustable-speed engine provides a soft start, constant power, overload protec-
tion and a continuous speed variation function.
Shifting gear
In order to improve the efficiency, some machines are designed with a 2-speed gear shift: high
speed (H speed) and low speed (L speed). H speed is for drilling on soft material with a small
drill bit and L speed is for drilling on hard material with a large drill bit.
Shift when the machine stops or is nearly stopping.
Shift in place: If the spindle does not rotate or there is some noise after starting it up, the gear
may not shift in place. Turn off the machine immediately and then shift the gear to its proper
place. Rotate the spindle back and forth (easy to shift) at the same time until the shift is in
place.
Do not shift when the machine is full-speed operated, overloaded or stuck.
