Note: 3173, 3174 end controls do not fit older non-CB track. The interior ridges that
extend into the waist of the track are too deep to fit non-CB track. 3173 and 3174
controls require track with deep grooves for the wire keepers used on CB cars.
Read instructions Before You Cut, Drill or Mount Track
It may be necessary to put trim caps, control blocks and traveler car on track
before mounting. Slide control assemblies onto track with bumper facing car.
Keep control assembly loose so it can be moved away while installing track.
To cut track to length, make sure stop holes for control blocks do not interfere
with hole for mounting track. If necessary, cut both ends of track.
Cockpit Installation—Allow Room for Trim Caps
To determine correct track length, make sure track ends, without trim caps, are
13 / " (21 mm) from edge of cockpit coaming to allow room for trim caps.

Remove any burrs on edges of track. Press 3157 or 3158 trim caps in place.
Important: insert trim caps before drilling outboard control block hole.
Position Control Block/Drill Track/Secure Control
Position control block flush with end of track. Drive screw firmly against top
surface to mark track, then loosen. Slide control block away.

Drill 27 / " (10.5 mm) hole through top surface of track only.

Important: Do not use screw hole in control block as a drill guide.
