There is no cause for concern: this process is both
normal and hazard-free.
Before initiating the FAST CLEAN mode:
• Remove large or coarse food residues from inside
of the oven using a damp sponge. Do not use
detergents.
• Remove all accessories.
• Do not place tea towels or pot holders over the
oven handle.
! If the oven is too hot, the pyrolytic cycle may not
start. Wait for the oven to cool down.
! The programme may only be started once the oven
door has been closed.
! The maximum duration of the "Fast clean" is 120
minutes and therefore set times which are greater
than 2 hours will not take effect as the oven will
switch itself off automatically.
To activate the FAST CLEAN mode, turn the
SELECTOR knob to .
Safety devices
• The door is locked automatically as soon as the
temperature exceeds a certain value.
• If a malfunction occurs, the heating elements will
be switched off.
Programming Fast Clean with immediate start
and pre-set duration
1. Turn the PROGRAMMER knob in an anticlockwise
direction until the "" symbol is displayed.
2. Pull the PROGRAMMER knob and turn it in an
anticlockwise direction until the marker corresponds
with the current time. A click will indicate the end of the
programming phase.
3. Use the SELECTOR knob to select mode
4. The oven may be switched off at any time by
turning the SELECTOR knob back to the "0"
position.
Setting the duration of Fast clean with an
immediate start
1. Turn the PROGRAMMER knob in an anticlockwise
direction until the desired "Fast clean" duration is
displayed.
2. Pull the PROGRAMMER knob and turn it in an
anticlockwise direction until the marker corresponds
with the current time. A click will indicate the end of
the programming phase.
3. Use the SELECTOR knob to select mode
The oven switches on immediately and remains on
for the entire duration of the set time.
4. When the set time has elapsed, a buzzer will
sound. To stop the process, turn the
PROGRAMMER knob in an anticlockwise direction
until the symbol "" is displayed.
5. Turn the SELECTOR knob to the "0" position.
Setting the duration of Fast clean with a delayed
start
1. Turn the PROGRAMMER knob in an anticlockwise
direction until the desired "Fast clean" duration is
displayed.
2. Pull the PROGRAMMER knob and turn it in an
anticlockwise direction until the marker corresponds
with the desired "Fast clean" start time.
3. Use the SELECTOR knob to select mode
oven will switch on at the set start time and will
remain on for the entire duration of the set time - but
no longer than 2 hours.
4. When the set time has elapsed, a buzzer will
sound. To stop the process, turn the
PROGRAMMER knob in an anticlockwise direction
until the symbol "" is displayed.
5. Turn the SELECTOR knob to the "0" position.
! To cancel programming, turn the PROGRAMMER
knob anticlockwise until the symbol "" is
displayed. Turn the SELECTOR knob to the "0"
position.
Once the automatic cleaning cycle is over
The COOKING IN PROGRESS indicator light will
switch off, while the DOOR LOCK indicator light
remains lit. You must wait until the temperature
inside the oven has cooled down sufficiently before
you can open the oven door (the DOOR LOCK
.
indicator light will switch off).
You will notice some white dust deposits on the
bottom and the sides of your oven; remove these
deposits with a damp sponge once the oven has
cooled down completely.
Alternatively, you can make use of the already
heated oven, in which case it is not necessary to
remove the deposits, they are completely harmless
and will not affect your food in any way.
