the handle of the clamping lever is always put back in such
a way that it does not present a danger to the user.
To adjust the tilt of the handlebars, loosen the 8 mm nut on
the front of the handlebar (24) using a 13 mm open-end wrench,
adjust the tilt and tighten. Make sure the handlebars do not
move.

5. Charging the battery

Before handling the battery, the "Battery" and "Charger" sections
of this user guide must be read to avoid any damage. The bicycle
battery must be charged before the power assistance can be used. To
do this, plug the charger pack plug into a 220 V electrical outlet and
connect the charging cable to the battery socket (23), located at the
rear of the bike, under the luggage rack, beneath a protective cover.
On the top of the battery, the charge indicator shows you the battery
charge level. Press the indicator button to activate it. Close the cover
on the charging socket when the operation is complete.

6. Positioning of the safety elements

Lighting
Lighting is supplied and consists of two headlights (a white one at the
front and a red light fixed on the rear luggage rack) and two orange
reflectors positioned between the spokes of the wheels). The lighting
system is a safety mechanism for your bicycle and as such it must be
present on your bike. Make sure that your lighting system works
properly before riding.
White battery-operated front light: the headlight is attached to
the front of the bike. Switch the headlight on and off by moving
the switch located on the top. The headlight is powered by two
3 V CR2032 button batteries. To change the batteries, remove
the transparent upper part of the headlight by pressing down
firmly on the tab (marked PUSH) located behind the casing,
taking care not to break the tab. Once this has been removed,
replace the two button batteries (CR2032), observing the
