This product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators.
Care should be taken so that liquids are not spilled inside the unit.
If the speaker is suspended, make sure it is in a stable and safe position.
Do not use solvents, alcohol, petrol or other volatile substances to clean the outer
components.
Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
This product generates a sound pressure level that may cause permanent damages to the
hearing. Do not use it at high volume levels for a long period of time.
Operating Instructions
1.
If more speakers are used at the same time in one place, pay particular
attention to the polarity, in order to achieve the best sound pressure level.
2.
In case of parallel connected speakers, the polarity must be the same,
while in case of serial configuration you should take care of the polarity
as for batteries serial connection.
3.
This appliance is suitable for cabling over long distances, thanks to its
built-in transformer (use of 100 V lines).
Installation
1.
Two holes 110mm apart should be made for MO3T, 165mm for MO5T
and 198mm for MO6T, in the installation area.
2.
Firmly fix the mounting bracket.
3.
Connect the signal line to the speaker terminal (picture 1 ref.1).
It is possible to make a direct connection to the speaker terminals
(MO3T) or to the Binding Post (MO5T, MO6T) or, as an alternative, to
connect using banana plugs(MO5T, MO6T).
It is also possible to connect more speakers in parallel, thanks to the
built-in constant line transformer, as long as the maximum output power
of the speakers does not exceed the maximum power of the amplifier.
When using a constant impedance, note that:
- The total impedance of loudspeakers connected to the signal line must
be equal to the output amplifier line.
- The maximum output power of the speakers does not exceed the
maximum power of the amplifier.
4.
Set the switch to the same voltage value of the constant voltage amplifier
(100V/70V) (picture 1 ref.2).
