Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 Please keep the packaging bags out of reach of children. The
bags may become a deadly toy for small children.
 The kitchen scale is not a toy. The scale contains parts that can
be swallowed. Keep the scale out of reach of small children.
 Do not immerse the scale in liquids and do not allow water to
enter the device. Do not use the scale with wet hands.
 Do not expose the scale to excessive temperatures, strong
vibrations, direct sunlight or high levels of humidity and avoid
strong mechanical stresses.
 Never place the scale near or on hot surfaces.
 Please keep all parts of the scale clean at all times as they come
into direct contact with food.
 Do not use aggressive chemicals to clean the unit. Use only a
moist cloth.
 Do not disassemble the unit; it does not contain parts
serviceable by you.
 If the unit becomes damaged have it repaired by a professional
or contact our customer support department.
 Use only batteries of the same type.
 If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, remove the
batteries.
 Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not
attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
