If your iPhone has 2 or more lenses, you will see a dual lens option. That means the phone will use both
lenses to shoot the scene for some creative effect. For example, the dual lens setting can be used for
background blur effect, similar to the "Portrait" mode available with most multi-lens iPhones.
RAW+JPEG
When RAW+JPEG is On, each photo taken will be saved as a standard .jpg image and as an unprocessed
RAW .dng image. RAW files are not compressed or processed, and the file size tends to be about 4 times
more than a compressed JPEG image.
RAW images require post-editing using Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom. This setting is best used by
photographers experienced in RAW image editing - It will take time and experience to acquire the skills
needed to convert a RAW image file into a good quality image that is better than a standard processed
JPEG image file.
Photo + 3 sec. Video
When Photo + 3 sec. Video is On, the app will capture a 3-second video clip with each still image. The
video clip is captured 1.5 seconds before and 1.5 seconds after the still image is captured. The app will
save two files – one still image and one video clip.
Background Blur
Only iPhones with two or more lenses can use the background blur setting, because two lenses are
needed to create this effect. Set the Lens to Dual Lens and then turn Background Blur On. This setting
works just like the Portrait mode of your native iPhone camera app.
