FIRST USE

First use
When you operate the IVOD-1022 for the
fi rst time, you must insert the batteries in
the remote control.

Activating the remote control

Inserting the batteries
1. Open the battery compartment by re-
moving the cover.
2. Insert the new batteries. Battery clas-
sifi cation: Two AAA batteries. Make
sure that the battery poles are positi-
oned as shown in the battery compart-
ment.
3. Close the battery compartment.

Using the remote control

Point the remote control at the infrared
receiver in the front of the device.
Operating angle: Approximately 30° in each
direction from the front of the infrared
receiver.

SWITCHING ON/OFF

Switching on/off
Comment:
The device is ready for operation when
button 1 lights up on the device.

To switch on/off, press the POWER but-
ton 1 on the remote control or the
POWER button 1 on the device.
Switching on the IVOD-1022 interior
lighting
There are two ways to switch on the lights:
1. ON/OFF switch M.
2. Vehicle door switch
(door open = minus 12 V).

Opening the LCD screen

u Press the release button N of the
IVOD-1022 to fold down the LCD
screen.
u
Lower the LCD screen to watch TV until
it is at an angle of approximately 90° to
the IVOD-1022 base unit.

Closing the LCD screen

u
Slide the LCD screen back into the base
unit until it engages again in the release/
holding mechanism.
