Spray Technique
■ Cover screw threads or similar parts of the target object.
It is advisable to test the spray gun on cardboard or a similar surface to find the
correct setting.
Important: Begin spraying outside of the target area and avoid interruptions inside
the target area.
■ Correct (Fig. 6a). Be sure to hold the spray gun at an even distance of approx. 10 –
30 cm to the target object.
■ Incorrect (Fig. 6b) Heavy spray fog build-up, uneven surface quality.
Move the spray gun evenly cross-wise or up-and-down, depending on the spray
pattern setting.
■ An even movement of the spray gun results in an even surface quality.
■ When coating material builds up on the nozzle (A) and air cap (B) (Fig. 7), clean both
parts with a solvent or water.
FIG.7

The JS-HH15A spray gun may not be spraying due to several possible reasons:

1. Incorrect Suction Tube Position – Ensure the suction tube is properly aligned. If spraying overhead, turn the tube rearwards; if spraying on a flat surface, turn it forwards.
2. Thick Paint or Clogged Nozzle – If the material is too thick, dilute it by 5-10% step-by-step until the flow rate meets requirements.
3. Low Convey Capacity – If the spray output is too low, gradually add dilution to improve flow.
4. Power Supply Issue – Ensure the mains supply voltage matches the rating plate (230-240V).
5. Blocked or Dirty Components – Clean the spray nozzle and suction tube to remove any obstructions.

Checking these factors should help resolve the spraying issue.
