Connection to a PC Connection to a PC
The connection to a PC is made by means of the shielded RS232 cable
supplied, or by means of another commercially available (non-crossed)
cable.
The Novasina "Novalog32" software, which runs under Windows 95/98/
2000/NT/XP, may be used to evaluate the measured data set.
The data string always consists of 22 characters, and is structured as
follows:

S: Status of analysis mode
– START: Analysis mode started
– ANAL.: Analysis mode is active
– STAB.: Stability criterion just reached. In the next data string the status output
– ABORT: Analysis mode was interrupted by pressing the <Stop> key. In the
C: Carriage return (CR)
L: line feed (LF)

The interface for printing out the measured data or for data transfer to a PC
is configured in the menu mode (see chapter 5).
