Before first Use

Remove all packing parts from the device. Dispose of packaging
material not needed or save not accessible for children. There is a risk
of suffocation!
Check the device for possible transport damages. Clean the device as
described in chapter "Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing" before using
for the first time.

Operation as Fryer

We recommend using quality vegetable oil that is heat resistant and
suitable for frying. If you use firm cooking fat, it is essential to cut it into
small pieces so the fat can melt easier. Put the pieces directly into the
fryer and not into the frying basket (9). If the blocs are put into the
basket, there will be no heat transmission. Never switch on the fryer
without cooking oil/fat.
1. Fill the fryer at least up to the MIN marking but not higher than up to
the MAX marking that is stamped inside. This is equal to 1200 ml.
Do not exceed the MAX marking; otherwise boiling oil may cause
burns.
2. Plug the power plug into a socket earthed according to regulations.
The power control light (2) turns on and indicates that the device is
connected to power mains.
3. Close the fryer lid while heating up.
4. Turn the thermostat controller (1) clockwise in order to switch on
the deep fryer and to select the desired temperature.
5. Attach the detachable
frying basket handle (7),
as pictured on the right,
to the frying basket (9).
Gently press the tongs
together and lead them
through the retainers on
the frying basket. Now
release the tongs.
