Remove the three plugs (E), one from the top of the valve block and two from the rear at the points
marked 8 and 9. Remove the plugs carefully as there may be some residual hydraulic pressure. Fit
the cartridge valve (F), the solenoid (G). the hoses (H), the hose fittings and the ram (I).

Mount the Hirschman switch (J) marked WS1-15 D on the solenoid (G).
Test the pre-emergence bout marker function. When the drill is raised, the pre-emergence bout
marker must also always be lifted; when the drill is lowered, the pre-emergence bout marker must
also be lowered to enable tramlining (indicator lamp 6 lights on the Control Station).
NOTE! When advancing the programme manually past tramlining, the pre-emergence bout mark-
ers may lower without the hydraulic control being used. In this case, raise the drill again.
