4. Connections
• When establishing connections, make sure the MONCOLHA15T is turned off to prevent any possible damage.
• You can connect a DVD/VCD player, VCR, PC, home video game system and video camera to this device.
• Only connect video and/or audio signals to AV-IN terminals. Connecting other signals may result in malfunction.
• The video and S-Video inputs (#6 & 7 in figure p.1) are shared connections ; the S-Video input has priority.

3. IR receiver (for remote control)
4. Power LED: indicates if the power is on or off.
5. PC LED: indicates if you are in PC mode.
6. Video LED: indicates if you are in Video mode.
7. TV LED: indicates if you are in TV mode.
8. S-Video LED: indicates if you are in S-Video mode.
9. Mute LED: indicates if the sound is muted.
10. Power switch: to turn the unit on and off.
11. Menu / Select key: when you first press this key, it
serves as 'Menu' key ; when you are in the OSD
menu (see "7. OSD Menu Contents" on page 3), it
serves as 'Select' key.
12. Up key: to move up any column in the OSD menu.
13. Down key: to move down any column in the OSD
menu.
14. Return key: press this key to return to a higher
menu in the OSD menu.
15. Mute key: to mute the sound.
16. Reset key: to reset the device.
17. Hinges that allow you to tilt the screen up to 5 degrees to the front and 20 degrees to the back.

6. Operation

• To insert a battery in the remote control:
! Open and slide out the battery support.

! Insert battery.

! Slide the battery support back in & push it firmly into place.
• To use the remote control efficiently:
! Use the remote control by pointing it towards the IR receiver.
! Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight as the heat may cause it to deform.
! Do not expose the remote control to shock or liquids and do not place it in high humidity environments.
! The remote control may not work properly if light shines directly on the IR receiver (#3) on the main unit. In
that case, change the angle of the lighting or the LCD set.
• Turn on the device with the power switch (#10) on the device or the 'Power' key on the remote control.
• Select the video source by pressing the 'Video Source' key on the remote control.
• Select the audio source by pressing the 'Audio Source' key on the remote control.
• Adjust the volume with the keys under #2 on the remote control.
• To mute the sound, press 'Mute' on the remote control.
To bring the sound back, press one of the keys under #2.
• Press 'ANT/CATV' so select Antenna or cable TV.
• To set channels press 'Auto Scan'. 125 channels are available.
