The status light flashes intermittently on this breaker, why? I have 3 other identical breakers in the same panel and all have the same trip settings This breaker is the only one that has tripped and I can’t figure out what is causing it.

The Eaton KD breaker may have an intermittently flashing status light and trip due to improper wiring connections, overheating, or mechanical failure. Possible causes include:
1. Incorrect Wiring: The +24 VDC power supply may be connected incorrectly, which can damage the electronic protection functions. 2. Overheating or Loose Connections: Signs of discoloration, melting, or blistering of conductor insulation may indicate overheating, which can cause tripping. 3. Faulty Trip Unit: The trip unit imposes a load of 45 mA, and an issue with this component could lead to intermittent tripping. 4. Mechanical Failure: If the breaker does not reset properly or if the handle shows cracks or chipping, the breaker may need replacement.
Check the wiring, inspect for overheating, and ensure proper mechanical operation. If issues persist, replace the breaker.
