Safety
Check your local regulations regarding mobile phone use in combination with
driving.
Shut off both the headset and mobile phone in areas where you are requested
to do so, such as in hospitals, aircraft or explosive environments.
Use only the included USB lead to charge the headset.
Do not let children play with the headset.
Things to consider:
Other wireless equipment using the same frequency band can reduce the range.
The range of all wireless equipment depends on the type of obstacles located
between the transmitter and the receiver (e.g. a concrete wall will interfere with
the signal more than a plasterboard wall).
If you experience problems, try the following:
Turn off any other wireless equipment to check whether this is the cause of
the problem.
Move any other existing wireless equipment. Shorten the distance between
the sending and receiving devices and reduce the number of obstacles (walls,
furniture, etc) between them.

Operating instructions
Turning the headset on
Slide the [ ON ] switch to the On position.
Turning the headset off
Slide the [ ON ] switch to the blank position.

Charging
1. Connect the included USB cable to the headset and to a suitable
USB charger (e.g. computer or other mains charger).
2. The LED indicator shines red when charging is in progress.
3. The red LED turns off when the headset is fully charged.
4. If the LED indicator changes from blue to red during use, it means that
the battery needs charging.
Note: The headset cannot make or receive calls while it is being recharged.
1. Insert the headset into the charger.
2. Connect the charger to a power source with a USB port using the included
USB lead.
NFC pairing
1. Slide the [ ON ] switch to the On position.
2. Touch the screen of the smartphone once to establish a connection.
3. If the headset is disconnected, touch the screen of the smartphone once to
reconnect.
Note: Your phone must be NFC-capable and the NFC must be enabled.
Bluetooth pairing
1. Slide the [ ON ] switch to the On position.
2. Hold down the multifunction button for about 3 seconds until the headset
flashes alternately red and blue. A short audible signal will be emitted.
3. Enable the Bluetooth function on your smartphone and scan for new
Bluetooth devices.
4. Select BL-V2. If the smartphone asks for a password or PIN code, enter 0000.
5. When the Bluetooth connection has been established the LED will stop
flashing and a short audible signal will be emitted.
6. The LED will flash twice when the headset is connected to the smartphone.
Important: If a connection cannot be established within 90 seconds, steps 1–5
should be repeated.
Unpairing
Hold down [ + ] and [ – ] for about 4 seconds until the LED flashes blue and red to
delete the pairing.

Pairing additional smartphones

1. Once the first smartphone has been paired, disable its Bluetooth function.
2. Switch off the headset and then switch it on again. Hold down the
multifunction button until the LED flashes blue and red.
3. Enable the Bluetooth function on the second smartphone and scan for new
devices.
4. Select BL-V2. If the smartphone asks for a password or PIN code, enter 0000.
5. When the second smartphone has been paired you can re-enable
the Bluetooth function on the first smartphone and reconnect it to
the headset.
Answering a call
A call is answered automatically 5 seconds after the headset has been removed
from the charger, or when the multifunction button is pressed.
Ending a call
To end a call, press the multifunction button or place the headset back into
the charger.
Rejecting an incoming call
Hold in the multifunction button for 2 seconds to reject a call.
Muting the sound
While a call is in progress, press [ + ] and [ – ] simultaneously. A short audible signal
will be emitted to indicate that the microphone of the headset has been muted.
The signal will be repeated every 10 seconds while the headset microphone
is muted.
Calling the last number dialled
Press the multifunction button twice in quick succession to redial the latest
number called using the phone.
Voice activation
1. First make sure that your smartphone supports voice-activation.
2. Hold down the multifunction button for 2 seconds and say the name of
the person you wish to call.
3. Hold down the multifunction button once more to turn off the voice-activation.
Audio streaming
Audio streaming is initiated and controlled via your smartphone. When you receive
an incoming call, any audio streaming is automatically interupted so you can answer
the call. When the call has ended, the audio playback automatically resumes.
Note: On certain models of smartphone, the audio playback does not resume
automatically, it needs to be restarted manually.
LED indicator
Steady red light: Charging in progress, goes off once the headset is fully charged.
Steady blue light from the charger holder: Indicates that there is power.
Flashing blue light: Incomming call.
Alternately flashing blue and red light: Pairing in progress.
Flashing blue light: The headset is switching on.
Flashing red light: The headset is switching off.
Care and maintenance
Avoid exposing the headset to moisture, damp, high temperatures and humidity.
Clean the headset using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of
with general household waste. This applies throughout the entire EU.
In order to prevent any harm to the environment or health hazards
caused by incorrect waste disposal, the product must be handed in
for recycling so that the material can be disposed of in a responsible
manner. When recycling your product, take it to your local collection
facility or contact the place of purchase. They will ensure that
the product is disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.
