2. INTRODUCTION
The TA4000.06 Hi Tension Probe Lead Set is a type of
inductive capacitance probe intended for use
exclusively with the TA4000 Oscilloscope. Its purpose
is to help diagnose engine ignition system problems. It
works by displaying a waveform corresponding to
voltage against time for a cylinder cycle.
To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock, ensure that
the test clip is connected to the ignition lead and not
directly to the ignition plug itself.
To avoid interference the probe cable should be at
least 50mm away from any high voltage wires.
