Inserting / Replacing the Battery

The metal detector is operated by a 9 V battery of the type 6LR61.
The battery compartment is located at the bottom side of the metal
detector.
1. Switch off the metal detector.
2. Press the latch of the battery compartment lid and open the
battery compartment.
3. Connect the electric contacts of the new battery with the battery
clip inside the battery compartment. Pay attention to the proper
polarity. Do not use any force when establishing contact.
4. Insert the battery into the battery compartment and close the
battery compartment with the lid.
Replace the battery if the battery level indicator (7) lights up.
If you do not plan to use the metal detector for some time, remove
the battery from the metal detector.

Adjusting the Telescopic Arm

Hold the metal detector in your hand, as pictured
on page IV.
Carrying should be convenient. The search coil
(8) has to run parallel to the ground in a distance
of approx. 3-5 cm.
Turn the connecting piece between the two
parts of the telescopic arm counter clockwise
and setup the length of the telescopic arm that
suits
your
connection piece again hand tight so that
the telescopic arm cannot readjust.
Turn one of the two locking knobs located at
the search coil counter clockwise in order to
adjust the working angle of the search coil.
Operation
