Traction Control Settings

Warning
If the traction control is disabled, the
motorcycle will handle as normal but
without traction control.
In this situation accelerating too hard
on wet/slippery road surfaces may
cause the rear wheel to slip which may
result in loss of motorcycle control and
an accident.
The traction control system can be
disabled as described in Bike Setup
on page 56, or set to the conditions
described in Riding Mode Configuration
on page 53.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring
System (TPMS) (if fitted)
Warning
The daily check of tyre pressures
must not be excluded because of
the fitment of the Tyre Pressure
Monitoring System (TPMS).
Check the tyre pressure when the
tyres are cold using an accurate tyre
pressure gauge, see the Tyre section
for more information.
Use of the TPMS system to set
inflation
pressures
incorrect tyre pressures leading to
loss of motorcycle control and an
accident.
Function
Tyre pressure sensors are fitted to the
front and rear wheels. These sensors
measure the air pressure inside the
tyre and transmit pressure data to the
instruments. These sensors will not
transmit the data until the motorcycle
is travelling at a speed greater than
12 mph (20 km/h). Two dashes will be
shown in the display area until the tyre
pressure signal is received.
An adhesive label will be fitted to the
wheel rim to indicate the position of the
tyre pressure sensor, which is near the
valve.
