Connection
Attaching the suction tube (dia. 01)
 Fit the suction tube with the square
hole facing upwards into the body of
the vacuum cleaner and twist gently
until it clicks into place.
 To separate the suction tube from the
body of the vacuum cleaner, press
the release catch (see detail) and pull
the suction tube away from the va-
cuum cleaner, twisting it slightly as
you do so.
Connecting the handle to the suction
tube (dia. 02 + 03)
 Fit the handle with the square hole fa-
cing upwards into the suction tube
and twist gently until it clicks into po-
sition.
 To detach the handle from the suction
tube, press the release catch and pull
the handle out of the suction tube,
twisting it slightly as you do so.
The handle can also be fitted directly to
the body of the vacuum cleaner.
The vacuum cleaner is then easier to
use, e.g. when vacuuming mattresses,
upholstery etc.
Fitting the floorhead (dia. 04 + 05)
 Attach the floorhead to the vacuum
cleaner connection stub and twist
gently until it clicks into position.

 To remove the floorhead, press the
release catch and pull the floorhead
away from the vacuum cleaner twist-
ing it slightly as you do so.
The suction tube can also be attached
to the vacuum cleaner connection stub.
This is useful for vacuuming underneath
low furniture, for example.
Unwinding the mains
cable (dia. 06 + 07)
The lower cable hook swivels.
 Turn it upwards and remove the
cable.
 Turn the lower cable hook down-
wards and wind the cable around
both cable hooks when the vacuum
cleaner is not in use.
 Use the cable clip to secure the plug
(see detail).
Using the accessories supplied
(dia. 08)

Accessory clip

Crevice nozzle
 Upholstery nozzle
Accessory clip (dia. 09 + 10)
(depending on model)
 If required, attach the accessory clip
to the suction tube.
 Push the accessory clip down over
the cable hook ring until it clicks into
position.
The accessory clip holds the accessor-
ies.
