The display has optional latitude/longitude grid lines which cover the entire world and are measured in degrees and minutes, with minutes expressed to the hundredth decimal.

Operator Manual 2.9.1.2 Track Plotter The ECDIS positions the ship on the electronic chart using information from the GPS or other positioning sensors. The ship symbol is directional and is oriented according to your gyro heading. An optional heading vector (an arrow) and search light (the cone shape) are displayed projecting from the bow of the ship symbol.
