Installation and maintenance instructions

Before using this appliance:
1. Do not cover or obstruct the heater while it is in use.
2. The heater must be earthed.
3. Unattended use of infrared heating by children or incapacitated people maybe serious.
4. Disconnect from the mains during installation, cleaning and/or replacing the element.
5. To avoid risk of burns, always ensure that the element and body is cool.
6 Do not install less than 2 meters from the floor surface.
7. Do not handle the halogen element with bare hands. If it is inadvertently touched,
remove finger marks with a soft cloth and methylated spirit or alcohol. Otherwise, the
marks will burn into the element causing premature heater failure.
8. Do not insert any object through the front grid or opening in the heater.
9. The maximum number of heaters that can be installed on a 15 amp circuit breaker is
3000w

element can cause serious damage to the eyes.
