Before Initial Use

1. Remove all packaging materials and any possible protective
fi lms used for protection during transportation.
2. Before you fi rst enjoy freshly brewed coffee, we recom-
mend cleaning the carafe and the permanent fi lter to
remove any possible production residues. To do this, follow
the instructions in the "Cleaning and Care" chapter.
Preparation
1. Place the carafe on a dry, stable, level, heat-resistant and
water-resistant surface.
2. Place the silicone sleeve around the narrow part of the
carafe and fi x it in place using the buttons.
3. Insert the permanent fi lter into the carafe.

Brewing Coffee

The preparation of pour-over coffee is about more than just a
quick coffee from time to time. There's a whole philosophy be-
hind the term. It's all about taking time to enjoy the preparation
and the freshly brewed coffee to the full. Pour-over preparation
requires a little care, but don't worry – with our help and a little
practice you'll get the hang of it quickly!
