»Errorlogger« submenu
In this submenu, the errors
which
occurred
during
operation are stored.
The following are documented:
Time
Error code
Errors in this context are
operating
conditions
impede any further operation of
the instrument.
6.2.6
»Language« submenu
This submenu lets you select
the offered languages and the
keyboard layout.
English
and
German
available as default languages
in
the
instrument. Another
language can be downloaded if
this is available.
The following keyboard layouts
can be selected: QWERTZ,
QWERTY and AZERTY. DE
(QWERTZ), EN (QWERTY) or FR (AZERTY) is displayed on
the start-up screen depending on the selected layout. The
keyboard layout can also be selected directly in the start-up
screen.
Select the desired language or keyboard layout in the
selection window.

»Location Database« submenu
This submenu can be used to
create locations that can be
selected when carrying out
measurements.
They
shown on the screen and
printed on the measurement
protocol.
1. Select the desired location
field.
2. Enter the location.
The maximum length of an entry is 17 characters. A maximum
of 10 locations can be entered.

»Change Current Location« submenu
This submenu lets you select
the location, which is shown in
the second row on the screen.
Select the desired location.
The selected location is
highlighted by a selection
marker.

6.2.9
»Set Date and Time« submenu
This submenu lets you set the
date and time.
Set the time and date in
succession.
Small discrepancies for the
internal clock can also be
compensated:
Use + to advance the
current time by one minute.
Use - to move the current time back by one minute.
The time format can be selected to the right of the time field.
Pressing the arrow key opens a list of available time formats.
To make a selection, scroll through the list and click on the
desired format.

The current time can be adjusted by +/- 1 minute within
24 hours.

» Maintenance « menu
This menu lets you make settings that enable a more precise
analysis of the measurement results. Some of the settings
changed in this menu are reset to the default values after
turning off the instrument. The use of the menu items
described here is only recommended for trained and qualified
operators. Any use beyond the menu items described here is
reserved for trained service technicians.
6.3.1
»Subject Test Settings« submenu
This submenu lets you select the unit of measurement in which
the breath alcohol concentration is displayed for normal mode
(active after switching on the instrument) and control mode
(can be selected manually).
The following units of measurement are available:

The conversion between the information in breath alcohol units
and blood alcohol units takes place at a blood/breath ration of
2100:1.
The measurement unit setting is retained after turning off the
instrument.
6.3.2
»Control Mode« submenu
This submenu lets you select the Control Mode and then
select a type of test gas for the measurements.
This setting is helpful for work in the laboratory. In control
mode, the resolution of the information on the measurement
result is increased by one decimal place compared to the
normal mode.
In the protocol, Control Mode is printed above the
measurement result.
