Relax Comfort Duo
User's Guide
Relax Comfort Duo requires a 230V, 1x10A (2 kW, standard) or 1x16A (3 kW) connection,
via a main breaker switch. A residual current device must be engaged. It is also
recommended that a timer (clock) with an on/off switch be installed to ensure that the
filtration systems runs about 4‐6 hours per day. E.g. 2 x 2 hours, or 2 x 3 hours, depending
on what is most appropriate for the user. Meanwhile, the electrical heater also turns on if
the temperature drops below the set value.
WARNING!
A. The electrical installation should only be done by qualified persons.
B. Read instructions carefully before installation begins.
C. We are not responsible for product malfunction or damage if the instructions are not followed
during installation.
D. Make sure that the product is not damaged in transit during unpacking.
E. Do not connect power before the installation is complete.
F. NOTE! If the hot tub is built into a terrace or similar, the construction shall be built in such a way
that all sides are freely accessible for servicing. Outer paneling and eventual insulation must be
easily removable.
G. Read the technical instructions before installing the bath
H. Read the users instructions before using the bath
I. Do not leave children in the bath without supervision
J. Do not sit with your back or head against the skimmer
K. If automatic dispensers (floating, etc.) are used, careful adjustment should be made to avoid
incorrect dosage. Follow the recommendations in our instructions.
L. The circulation pump also generates heat and if it is running a long time it can raise the
temperature by several degrees in one day when the tub is well insulated.
M. Check the quality of the water, as well as temperature and function, regularly, don't leave the spa
unmonitored for long time periods.
N. If the water's drained and the bath isn't in use during cold weather, then all screw connections
are to be left open so that any water can drain out.
O. When filling water and the temperature is below freezing, the pumps and pipes are also cold.
Take this into account and fill with warm water first, or warm up the space with an appropriate
heater before filling with water.
P. A frost guard can be placed in the technical area to protect against damage from freezing in cold
weather if the equipment fails.

- Page 2 Startup At startup 1. Fill water to the level (Max / Min) shown on the skimmer. See the last page. 2. Open both valves (A & B) to the filter. 3. Open the air screw (C) on top of the filter and close when water comes out. 4. Start. Draining is done via a special drain valve (E) next to the filter. The desired temperature is set on the graduated thermostat dial. The pump must be running for the heater to operate. Button to start and stop are found on the left side next to the service door. - Page 4 Recommended water level HIGHER WATER LEVELS RESULT LESS SUCTION SURFACE WATER VICE VERSA Cleaning of filters Cleaning the filter cartridge: In addition to washing the filter with eg. a hand held shower, you also need to clean the filter cartridge "in depth". Minerals and other contaminants that are very difficult to detect can get stuck deep inside the filter's fibers, thus causing problems with the water flow. Filter cleaning: 1. Put the dirty filter in a bucket of water and add machine washing detergent or Filter Cleaner. 2. Leave it submersed in the sink for at least 12 hours. 3. Remove the filter and rinse it clean. with a water hose or hand held shower, both inside and out. Let it dry properly before reinstalling. Unscrew the air screw on top of the filter.
