FILLING THE HEATER
Fill the upper heater grid with the supplied stones.
The stones are supplied cleaned and washed, but further cleaning before
positioning them on the heater is advisable to eliminate dust deposited
during transport. Position the smaller stones on the bottom and place the
larger ones on the upper part. To ensure proper air recycling, do not
completely cover the resistance with stones. It is advisable to re-arrange the
stones on the heater at least once/twice per year in order to check
conditions and replace any if necessary.
IMPORTANT:
Stones must not be any smaller than 5 cm. Lack of ventilation through the
heater stones can cause heater resistance faults. The warranty does not
cover faults due to use of unsuitable stones.
Make sure that the floor of the room where the sauna will be placed does
not have any plastic parts, rugs or linoleum which could develop
unpleasant odours when heated. Verify that the floor is even and flat.
Before securing each wall to the sauna, make sure that there are no
differences in alignment which could cause cracks between the panels.
TEMPERATURE IN THE SAUNA
A fresh air inlet is provided at the bottom of each model. Combined with an exit point located higher up, this inlet allows for natural convection inside the
sauna with relative air recycling. This convection also affects the level of the adjustable temperature inside, variable at different points of the environment
even if measured at the same height.
The diagram you see here is purely indicative of the adjustable temperatures at different heights, with significant variations depending on the movement of
air inside. The hottest point is monitored the height of the ceiling. At floor level, the temperature is close to that of the outside environment. In all properly
constructed saunas, temperatures vary by several degrees influenced by the ratio of height and natural air convection. For this reason, the temperature
set via the external control panel is to be considered indicative.
Only in the testing phase is skin perception not bound to these measurable changes. The warm environment of the sauna interacts with the organism,
bringing with it all the traditional benefits of this ancient rite. Your body is the best indicator of the optimum temperature at which it is best to enjoy the
ritual of the sauna.
