7. Program update

Firmware update for SH series is available with the programmed USB thumb drive. Once you
execute the program installation mode, the [POWER] button does not function to avoid
operation error.
Unplug DC IN 12V power cord from Switch box or unplug power adaptor from the AC outlet to
turn the power off for installation mode termination.

Make sure to unplug MIDI cable before you start‐up the Installation mode.
Do not touch keyboards nor pedals during program installation is being processed.

Method

[PLAY] + POWER ON
Operation
While the system is switched off, insert the programmed USB thumb
drive in the USB terminal in the Switch box.
Refer to "Start‐up"
Press the [PLAY] button once.
When installation confirmation message is indicated on the display,
press the [PLAY] button once again.
Program writing starts automatically and several numbers which
shows the program updating situation are indication the display.
"End" indicates on display when program installation is finished.
