The Ripper Digital Phonostage Description The Ripper is a superb analog phonostage mated to a USB analog-to-digital converter. It was designed to make recording LPs to computer disk as simple and straightforward as possible, while maintaining a very high level of sound quality.

The Ripper Digital Phonostage Operation The Ripper has no power switch (only 2 watts) and turns on immediately upon plugging in. The front panel LED should light up. Connect the ground lead from your turntable to the ground lug between the RCA jacks on the rear panel.

The Ripper Digital Phonostage Troubleshooting Problem Solution Power LED off. Unit not plugged in? USB LED off. No bus power available from USB port? PC not configured for USB audio? No sound. Check select switch. Try headphone output. Audio stops or “tics” are Too many devices on the USB bus? present.
