- Page 3 Bugle MM Phono Preamplifier Description The Bugle is a highly acclaimed and award-winning (stereophile recommended component) phono preamplifier, designed to compete against products many times its price. The key to its transparent, dynamic, and fatigue-free sound is the use of passive equalization between gain stages. A dc-coupled output buffer provides enough drive for even passive line stages.
- Page 4 Install two fresh (alkaline type recommended) 9V batteries. The Bugle can also plug directly into most sound cards. No warm-up period is required. Turn it on when you are ready to play.
