OPERATION Before first use It is important to clean the appliance before first use or if it has not been used for a long period. See the “Cleaning” section for more information. Before using the soup maker for the first time, wipe down the jug and lid with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. - Page 8 When the lid is opened or the jug is taken out during operation, the alarm will sound, and operation will cease. Note: The appliance can only be worked when mixing jug is closed with the lid in place. Ingredients Cut up ingredients into 2cm squares before placing them into the jug. It is recommended to use a ratio of 2 parts food to 3 parts of water.

The chunky soup programme is intended for rustic soup recipes requiring a chunkier consistency, such as lamb & lentil broth. The programme allows the ingredients to be heated for longer to ensure the chunky ingredients are fully cooked.

Pulse The appliance will blend for as long as the Pulse button is held down. Do not use the blending mode for more than 20 seconds without letting the appliance cooled down sufficiently afterwards.
