CORDLESS CHAIN SAW SAFETY WARNINGS Keep all parts of the body away from the saw chain when the chain saw is operating. Before you start the chain saw, make sure the saw chain is not contacting anything.
  • Page 18 SAFETY INFORMATION When cutting a limb that is under tension be alert for spring back. When the tension in the wood fi- bers is released the spring loaded limb may strike the operator and/or throw the chain saw out of control. Use extreme caution when cutting brush and saplings.

  • Page 22 ASSEMBLY Position the saw rail so that the chain tension pin and locking pin can engage into the saw rail and the chain saw blade lies around the sprocket. Make sure the chain cutters on top of the guide bar face forward towards the bar tip. ( Fig 8) First insert tongue locates on the bottom left of the clutch cover into its matching hole at a certain angle.

    ADJUSTMENT Checking the tension of the saw chain As shown in Fig10 Fig 10 CAUTION ! Always ensure the battery pack has been removed. When the saw chain can be raised by around 2mm In the middle of the cutter bar. You know that the chain tension is ideal.

    KNOWLEDGE OF KICKBACK Definition of kickback Pinch kickback : the rapid push back of the saw chain that can occur when the wood closes in and pinches the moving saw chain in the cut along the top of the guide bar. Rotational kickback : the rapid upward and backward motion of the saw that can occur when the moving saw chain near the upper portion of the tip of the guide bar contacts an object such as a long or branch.
  • Page 26 KNOWLEDGE OF KICKBACK With a basic understanding of kickback , you can reduce or eliminate the element of sud- den surprise contributes to accidents; Keep a good firm grip on the saw with both hands, the right hand on the rear handle and the left hand on the front handle, when the tools is running.
  • Page 27 KNOWLEDGE OF KICKBACK Push stroke As shown in Fig14 Fig 14 This technique involves sawing from bottom to top with the top side of the saw rail. The saw chain pushes the product backwards and to- wards the user. If the saw rail twists, the product can be flung towards the user at high force.

    OPERATION Charging the battery pack As shown in Fig15 NOTE! Remove the battery pack from the charger after it has been fully charged . NOTE! This battery pack has been shipped in a low charge condition,it should be fully charged before first use. NOTE! make sure the main voltage is the same as rating label which located on the charger.
  • Page 29 OPERATION The green LED light of the charger will flash continuously during normal charging. After charging is complete, you will hear a beep sound again, the green LED on the char- ger will be on and the four green lights of the battery pack will be on for 3-5 seconds then turn off.
  • Page 30 OPERATION Always unplug the charger when not in use and store in a dry secure place. Avoid charging or storing your battery in temperatures below 0°C and above 45°C . Cool down hot battery pack from a just-operated tool for approximately 30 minutes before at- tempting to recharge.

  • Page 32 OPERATION Before use Check that the chain brake works correctly and is not damaged. Check that the rear right hand guard is not damaged. Check that the lock-off button and on/off trigger switch works correctly and is not dam- aged. Check that all handles are free from oil.

  • Page 36 OPERATION When bucking on a slope always stand on the uphill side of the log, As shown in Figure 25 When “cutting through”, to maintain complete control release the cutting pressure near the end of the cut without relaxing your grip on the chain saw handles. Don’t let the chain contact the ground.

    STORING AND MAINTENANCE WARNING! Before performing any repair work, always remove the battery pack and wait until the cutting blade has come to a standstill ! Do not spray the unit with water. Ingress of water may destroy the battery pack and the electric motor.
