The USB LED is located on the front of the USB-8486, as shown in
Figure B-3. It indicates whether the USB-8486 is powered, configured, and
operating properly. Table B-5 shows how to interpret the USB LED states.

LED State
Off
There is no power on the USB port , the USB-8486 is
disabled, or an error has occurred.
Solid green
The USB-8486 is working in USB 2.0 full speed
mode.
Solid amber
The USB-8486 is working in USB 2.0 high speed
mode.
The H1 Fieldbus port on the USB-8486 has an LED to indicate the
functional states of the port. Table B-6 describes each state.

The USB-8486 has not been initialized.
Solid green
The Fieldbus port is disconnected from the network
or receiving nothing.
Slow flashing
The Fieldbus port is only receiving/transmitting

The Fieldbus port is receiving/ transmitting payload
green
traffic packets.
Flashing red
The USB-8486 encountered an error during the
P.O.S.T.
Solid red
The Fieldbus port encountered a fatal network error.
