Safety and care advice
Ensure that the Crib is used on a horizontal floor.
 Do not allow children to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the Crib
 WARNING: Ensure the Crib is in the locked position when leaving a child
unsupervised in it
 You should not fix any toy or decoration to the inside of the Crib that
could provide a foothold and present a danger of strangulation or
suffocation.
 The safety of the Crib could be adversely affected by fitting flammable
drapes.
 When a child is able to sit, Kneel or to pull itself up, the crib shall not be
used anymore for this child.
 Do not use the body of the crib without its frame.
 The upper surface of any mattress used should be at least 200mm from
the upper edge of the crib sides in its higher position.
 The crib should not be used if any parts are lost or damaged.
 Only Saplings spares should be used.
 Beware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as
electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. In the vicinity of the cot.
 All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly and care should
be taken that no screws are loose, because a child could trap parts of the
body or clothing (e.g. strings, necklaces, ribbons for babies dummies),
which could pose a risk of suffocation and strangulation.
 The recommended mattress for this crib is a Saplings "Crib" mattress
(90cm x 40cm)
 Any mattress used with this crib should be no more than 40mm shorter or
narrower than the length or width of the crib.
Scuff marks may be removed with a damp cloth. Occasional use of furniture
polish will maintain the good looks of your crib. Periodically check all screw
fixings to ensure they remain tight. Never clean with abrasive, ammonia
based, bleach based or split type cleaners.
