I/O
MODULE REPLACEMENT
I/O module replacement
■
Hazardous voltage. Contact with high voltage may cause death or serious injury.
WARNING
Always disconnect power to unit prior to service.
Remove the I/O module
1.
Remove power from the sign. Note there may be more than one power source present.
2.
Open the sign. See See "Opening a sign" on page 5-1.
3.
Use a small screw driver to detach BOTH green terminals from the module.
Note: Do not remove the wires.
4.
Loosen both captive screws.
5.
Make note of address on module to ensure correct replacement part is used
Install the replacement I/O module
1.
Install new module.
Note: Make sure that the inputs (DI) are at the

Reconnect the green terminals.
3.
Turn the breakers to the ON position to return power to the sign.
