• In order to optimise its efficiency, press briefly on the Aquaboost Vaporizer button (located either side of the Power
Zone button) but avoid pressing on it repeatedly in order not to dampen the clothing too much.

Maintenance and cleaning

Cleaning your steam generator
Your steam iron is fitted with a Gliss/Glide Protect
• Its exclusive active coating allows it to eliminate any impurities that may be regularly
generated during normal conditions of use.
• Ironing with an unsuitable programme could nonetheless leave traces that require manual
cleaning. In this case, we recommend using a soft damp cloth on the soleplate while it is still
warm to avoid damaging the coating.
• Do not use any type of cleaning or descaling product to clean the soleplate or the base unit.
• We recommend always standing your iron upright or on the iron rest to protect its coating.
• Never hold the iron or the base unit under a running tap.
• Clean the plastic parts from time to time using a slightly damp soft cloth.
Easy descaling of your steam generator
Do not use any descaling
substances (industrial
descaling products, etc.)
when rinsing the anti-
scale collector:
they could damage it.
Before emptying your
steam generator, it must
always be left to cool for
2 hours to avoid any risks
of scalding.
• Hang the garment on a coat hanger and hold the fabric slightly taut with one hand.
• As steam is very hot: never attempt to remove creases from a garment while it is
being worn, always hang garments on a coat hanger.
• Holding the iron in a vertical position
on the steam control button (underneath the iron handle) moving the iron from top
