Introduction
Read through these operating instructions fully and carefully. The operating
instructions belong to this product and contain important points concerning
bringing the appliance into service and its operation.
Always pay attention to all safety instructions. Should you have any
questions or be unsure about operating the appliance - ask a specialist,
inform yourself on the internet under www.pentatech.de. Keep these
instructions in a safe place and should the need arise pass them on to a
third party.
Proper use
This wireless chime consists of a transmitter FG 20S and a receiver FG 20E.
Several wireless chimes of the type FG 20 can be combined. It can be used as
a doorbell system where the signal is transmitted via radio without cables.
The wireless chime can also be connected to an existing doorbell button and
can be used as a supplement to an existing wired doorbell system.
The wireless chime can also be used as a mobile pager.
The transmitter is activated by pressing the doorbell button. Depending on
the setting, the receiver responds with a chime sound (two, three or multiple
tones) and/or a stobe signal.
The stobe light lens is exchangeable (white, blue and orange) so that you can
change the appearance of the receiver as desired.
The receiver is designed exclusively for indoor use in private households; in
dry weather the receiver can be operated in the garden or on the
balcony. The transmitter is protected against sprayed water (IP44) and thus
also suitable for outdoor use.
The transmitter is powered by two AAA (LR03) batteries and the receiver with
three C-(LR14) batteries or a 4,5V DC, min 500 mA mains adapter.
