CUTTING NESTED CROWN MOLDING USING
CROWN STOPS
(Crown Stops Sold Separately as an Accessory)
See Figure 47.
Crown stops may be purchased as an accessory to this
saw for use in cutting crown molding in a nested position.
NOTE: There is a hole in each miter table extension. The
crown stop may be installed at either location for making
the desired type of cut.
To attach the crown stops to the extension table:
 Position a crown stop on the extension table.
 Insert the threaded crown stop lock knob through the long
slot in the crown stop and into the hole as shown, but
do not fully tighten to allow for adjustment of the crown
stop.
 Set the top of the piece of crown molding on the table.
Position the spring angles so that the bottom angle is flat
on the table and the top angle is flush against the miter
fence.
 Tighten the lock knob securely before making the cut.
