7 Mode 6: For confirmation of fluctuated
values of the rotary variable
controls
Each LED and the corresponding operating element
In Test 6 mode, the individual AD controls can be tested.
Which AD control is being tested is indicated by flashing
of the corresponding LED.
MASTER LED
The maximum and minimum values for the amplitudes
of the operating element being tested are indicated by
the MASTER LEDs in 7 steps (-3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, and
+3), beginning with Level 0.
Zero represents no change.
If the fluctuated value for a rotary VR is fixed at either
+3 or -3, that VR may be defective. The VRs can be set
to any position during Test mode. (Specifically, the
reference values for failure judgment are ±4. As the
number of LEDs makes it impossible to indicate values
of +4 or greater and -4 or smaller in this mode, the mere
fact that the fluctuated value is fixed at either of +3 or -3
does not necessarily signify that the corresponding VR
is defective.)
*For details on how to operate, see "4. Basic Operation
Method."
8 Mode 7: For confirmation of the meter
LEDs
As shown in the figure, the CH1 CUE key corresponds
to the CH1 level meter, the MIC/AUX ON key to the
MASTER level meter, and the CH2 CUE key to the CH2
level meter. Each time one of these keys is pressed,
the LEDs for the corresponding channel will light one on
top of another.
If the key is held pressed, lighting of the LEDs continues
automatically.
