    Medema Production A/S Introduction DX2 DX2 is the first in a new generation of joysticks to control the electric wheelchair. With its large color LCD screen and its logical icon built menu structure, it directs the user to the target.

    Medema Production A/S Programming The electric control in the MC Concept can be programmed so that it best meets the customer’s needs. From the factory the vehicle is programmed in default configuration, so that smooth acceleration, proper braking and sensitivity are guaranteed.

    Medema Production A/S Maintenance MC Concept 1122 is designed so that it requires very little care and maintenance. However we recommend an annual inspection, which the following are checked: Description Date Initials Transaxle - clean, check for leakage. Check bearings.

    Medema Production A/S Suspension replacement Jack up the vehicle so that the caster wheels are off the ground. Change the spring on the rear of the vehicle unscrewing the two screws. Replace this part. When installing, use Loctite 243 on the screws.

    Medema Production A/S Changing the central wheel If you get a puncture in one of the pneumatic tyres or if a tyre is so badly worn that it needs to be replaced, follow the instructions below. Tyres and inner tubes can be purchased from the authorised dealer who supplied the MC Concept.
  • Page 36 Medema Production A/S Replace or repair the hose. Make sure there is no dirt or foreign objects in the tire before the the hose is in place. Pump in some air, but don’t fill it completely yet. Please be aware to placing the valve in the prepared holes.

You must NEVER brake the MC Concept by switching off with the I/O button while moving, as this applies the magnetic brake with considerable force, with a resulting risk of tipping.

    Medema Production A/S Replacing the motor gear Remove the central wheel and cover. (See section Changing the central wheel). Remove the wheel cover. Free the release arm by loosening the set screw, and lifting it clear of the motor. Loosen the yellow screws and lift off the rear guard.
