Minimum amount of hard vegetables is 100g
(3.5oz) and maximum is 700g (1.5lbs).
Cut into even size pieces of 1/2 - 3/4 inch
pieces (30-40g) size to ensure even cooking
throughout. Add 1 tablespoon of water per
100g (3.5oz) of hard vegetables.
Cover with a vented microwave-safe plastic lid
or vented microwave-safe plastic wrap.
Halfway through the cook program, an alert
tone will sound, and STIR / TURN will flash.
Open door or press STOP / CLEAR button
once to pause. Stir vegetables, close door and
press START button to continue.
Frozen Vegetables
The SMART COOK FROZEN VEGETABLES
setting is suitable for a selection of frozen
vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, cauliflower
and peas.
Cook times are based on vegetables from the
freezer (approx. – 18°C / 0°F).
Minimum amount of frozen vegetables cooked
is 125g (4.5oz) and maximum is 500g (1lb).
No water needs to be added.
Cover with a vented microwave-safe plastic lid
or vented microwave-safe plastic wrap.
Halfway through the cook program, an alert
tone will sound, and STIR / TURN will flash.
Open door or press STOP / CLEAR button
once to pause. Stir vegetables, close door and
press START button to continue.
Chicken
The SMART COOK CHICKEN setting is
suitable for fresh chicken pieces only and is not
suitable for cooking whole chickens.
Cook times are based on chicken directly from
the refrigerator (approx. 5°C / 40°F).
Minimum amount of chicken should not
be less than 150g (5oz) and not more than
750g (1.65lbs).
Chicken will cook more evenly if placed in a
shallow round microwave-safe dish in a single
layer. For faster and more even cooking, it is
important to arrange larger and thicker pieces
around the outside of the turntable.

Meat
The SMART COOK MEAT setting is suitable
for ground meat only.
Cook times are based on meat directly from the
refrigerator (approx. 5°C / 40°F).
Minimum amount of ground meat should not
be less than 125g (5oz) and not more than
750g (1.65lbs).
Place in a microwave-safe container. Cover
with a microwave-safe vented lid or microwave-
safe vented plastic wrap.
Halfway through the cook program, an alert
tone will sound, and STIR / TURN will flash.
Open door or press STOP / CLEAR button
once to pause. Stir / break up the meat, close
door and press START button to continue.
Fish
The SMART COOK FISH setting is designed
to gently cook your fish without dry and
overcooked edges.
Cook times are based on the fish directly from
the refrigerator (approx. 5°C / 40°F).
Minimum amount of fish should not be less
than 100g (3.5oz) and not more than 500g
(1lb).
Suitable for white fish and salmon fillets;
arrange in a single layer in a shallow
microwave-safe dish. Fold over the thin tail end
of the fillets to prevent overcooking.
Cover with a microwave-safe vented lid or
microwave-safe vented plastic wrap.
Halfway through the cook program, an
alert tone will sound, and STIR / TURN will
flash. Open door or press STOP / CLEAR
button once to pause. Flip the fish, close
door and press START button to finish the
cooking cycle.
Once cooking has finished, allow fish to stand
for 5 minutes.
