VXIpc-486 Configuration and Installation

MODID Signal Termination

W26 configures the MODID signal termination for Slot 0/Non-Slot 0 operation. In the default
configuration for Slot 0 operation (Figure 2-2a), W26 causes the MODID signal to be terminated
with a 16.9 kΩ pull-up resistor. When configured for Non-Slot 0 operation (Figure 2-2b), W26
causes the MODID signal to be terminated with an 825 Ω pull-down resistor.

System Controller

W25 configures the System Controller for Slot 0/Non-Slot 0 operation. In the default
configuration for Slot 0 operation (Figure 2-3a), W25 enables the VXIpc-486 Model 500 Series
System Controller functions—SYSCLK and SYSRESET drivers, the Bus Arbiter and Bus
Timer. When configured for Non-Slot 0 operation (Figure 2-3b), W25 disables the System
Controller functions.
