HOW TO REPLACE THE BATTERY

Condition 1: Open the battery case cover on the back of the scales, if the battery case is the type
shown in the picture 1.
A. Bend the small black tab outwards and the battery will come out. Take note not to bend the contact.
B. Install new battery by putting one aside of the battery beneath the contact and then pressing down
the other side.
Condition 2: Open the battery case cover on the back of the scales, if the battery case is the type
shown in the picture 2.
A. Take out the used battery with the help of a sharp object, as shown in the picture 2.
B. Install new battery by putting one side of the battery beneath the battery baffle and then pressing
down the other side.
