MOUNTING TO WOODEN STUDS STEP 2a The wall plate can be mounted on up to three wooden studs. Using a high-quality wall stud finder, find the location of the wall studs. Mark the centre of the wall stud (an edge to edge stud finder is highly recommended). Use a level to draw a vertical line down the centre of the stud.

Using the template, drill holes with a diameter of 14mm (1/2”), to a depth of 90mm (3 1/2”) into a solid portion of the cinderblock wall. These holes should be in a vertical line. Using a level is recommended. Insert the anchors into the holes, and then lightly tap them flush to the wall with a hammer.
