Page 2 MPG475 1. Attach a support tube onto the trailer’s rear cross member. Cross the U-bolts under the member as shown, using one straight and one dimpled U-bolt. Center the support tube and brackets on the trailer, then tighten. 2. The forward support tube should be mounted about 48”...
Page 3 MPG475 5. With the grooved side of the crossbars facing up, slip the crossbar brack- ets over the crossbars (as shown) with the mounting holes towards the middle. Loosely install two small carriage bolts through each bracket. They trap the crossbars inside the brackets.
Page 4 MPG475 7. Center the load bars to the trailer, then fully tighten all 12 crossbar bracket bolts. 8. Go back over and and re-check that all nuts and bolts are securely tightened. Your ﬁ nished crossbar kit installation should look something like this.
