The system was installed in 1999 - new home construction. Just yesterday the windows were open as normal and the security keypad displayed as normal. Then all of a sudden a beeping noise started via the keypad. I hit the clear button and it stopped. Closed all the open windows to test and all appeared well. Open the windows today and after 10 or 15 minutes same beeping tone started. Hit the clear key again and it stopped. It has been silent for 30 or so minutes. I don't believe the battery in the security box has ever been changed since installation. Could this be the issue
