Instructions

Undo the rear trim of the handbrake by pushing down

and back as shown in the picture. You may need to

give the cover a light tap with a rubber mallet if you

are having trouble getting it to disengage.

This picture shows the trim piece undone from the

handbrake. Remove the small retaining clip that is on

the top of the handbrake grip.

You may need to give the cover a light tap with a rubber mallet if you are having trouble getting it to disengage.
Page 2 Pull up on the handbrake. Insert a screwdriver through the seam in the leather. There is a hole on the bottom of the handbrake under the seam. Look at the carbon piece to see where it is located. Press up firmly. Slide the handbrake off. NOTE 1) On early cars, the handbrake is held in by the metal clip on the top of the handbrake as well as a metal clip inside the handbrake.
Page 3 Secure the rear trim piece back onto the handbrake by pushing down and then forward. Enjoy your work!
